I am not a Pinot Noir drinker but I have had a few good ones. My daughter and son in law are big time Pinot Noir drinkers. My honest opinion of your Pinot Noir pretty much echos the thoughts of my daughter/son in law in that it was the BEST Pinot Noir we have ever had! The color in the glass was perfect, the nose was Pinot Noir nice and the taste was OMG delicious! The Albariño? Equally as nice as your red wine. The color was amazing for that type of wine, the nose was pleasant and the taste was somewhat Pinot Grigio like (probably not a good comparison?) with a lot more substance and just a very subtle hint of sweetness in the after taste. Those are my (and my daughter/son in law) honest opinion of your wines. We are far from wine experts, and/or wine snobs but we love our glass of vino and we do know a little more about wine appreciation than many folks do. And, our thoughts are honest, Julie. If we didn’t enjoy your wines, being a gentleman, I just would not have said anything and just thanked you.

I have always been skeptical of a white ¨speciality¨ wine thinking it may be sweet, and I am not fond of sweet wines. To my surprise, Albariño is not at all sweet. Vibrant and flavorful, yes, but not sweet.

I had never heard of Albariño wine until it was introduced to me by the Gomes. I love the flavor. To me it tastes like a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc which are two of my favorite wines.
